Location: This city is located two hours north of Des Moines IA and two hours south of Minneapolis MN. Just nine miles from Clear Lake one of Iowa's largest recreational lakes. The community has a nationally recognized school system with both public and parochial schools available. Other amenities include a fine arts museum as a well a nationally recognized performing arts theater for both child and adult actors; several fine dance studios ice-skating and hockey facility and our own regional orchestra. This is an excellent place to live practice medicine and raise a family. The medical community shows an unparalleled degree of camaraderie. Facility- This is a 346-bed regional referral teaching center. This department is well established has an existing patient base and strong support staff. Opportunity: Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Oncologist for Locums coverage. Schedule is Mon-Thu. Shifts are from 8am- 5pm with no call after shift. Average census of 2 Consults and 12 follow up per day. Credentialing takes 4-6 week. EMR- Mozeke. Providers are supported by a nurse and medical assistant. Compensation: Competitive hourly rates malpractice insurance travel reimbursements and weekly pay provided.
