General Diagnostic Radiologist
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Pay Rate: $1543.00 - 1555.00
A radiology group in the greater Chicagoland area is looking for a board certified diagnostic radiologist to help read studies ongoing Monday to Friday every week starting July 9, 2018 for 3-4 months. This schedule can be split between several radiologists if needed. This is a team, hospital setting, no mammography, no pediatrics, and the only interventional work is 2 upper or lower GI’s per day. The radiologist will be expected to read 100 studies per day consisting of 25 cat scan, 25 ultrasound, 10 MR, and the remainder plain film, basically a 50/50 mix between plain film and cross sectional studies. A fellowship trained radiologist would be preferable, especially in MSK, body, neuro, or MR, but not required. The job is 8 hours of work daily, but the radiologist can choose their start time of 6am, 8am, or 9am each day, Monday to Friday. Coverage is also needed one weekend every 4th weekend starting with the 7/14-7/15 and 8/11-8/12 weekends. The PACS system is McKesson and the voice recognition is Powerscribe 360.
