Neuroradiologist Locum Opportunity in New York! 80% neuro with ability to do some general needed.
Location: West Islip, New York
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board Certification: Current ABR/AOBR certification and be fellowship trained in Neuroradiology. This position requires strong Neuroradiology skills and proficiency in general radiology. The ability to read body imaging and/or perform light procedures a plus but not required.
• Lumbar Punctures would be only procedures, If possible
EMR: GE and proprietary PACS
Facility: Very large and busy hospital, 220k studies per year. State of the art diagnostic imaging capabilities include a Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) scanner and a sophisticated Department of Imaging Services. Good Samaritan is one of the largest providers of emergency services on Long Island. More than 26,000 patients a year are admitted for inpatient services.
Shift Times: M-F schedule with weekend call if available .The shifts we cover are 8a-~8p, so there are morning and mid-day start time, there is flexibility but generally 8-5.
License Requirement: Must have an active New York license and DEA.
Privileges: 60-90 days, temps available
