(Archived) Neuro-Interventional Radiologist Opportunity

Job Description

Join a well respected, established multi-specialty Radiology practice with over 40 Radiologists, radiation oncologists and nuclear medicine physician!  The group is based in a 979 bed, Level 1 Trauma/burn/Stroke center that has 5 ACGME residency programs (ICU, Surgical, Ortho, IM, FP, Dental and OB residents) with rotating residents and medical students from the University.  The group does over 480,000 diagnostic procedures annually.  They are aggressively recruiting a 2nd Neuro-Interventional Radiologist (preferred CAQ’d).  You will participate in diagnostic Neuroradiology as well but diagnostic call is not required.  Currently on pace for 57 strokes this year, endovascular strokes have grown about 30-40% over the last 4 years, 18 aneurysms last year.  There is an excellent relationship with Neurosurgery and they are involved.  There is a dual trained endovascular neurosurgeon who takes call once a week and on the weekends, two additional neurosurgeons clip aneurysms.  Shareholder status after 1st year for experienced, end of 2nd year for non experienced.  Receive salary, stroke call and bonus (550-600k), 13 weeks time off, comprehensive benefit package worth over 100k that includes family health, health savings account, dental, disability, long term care, life insurance, vision, 401k retirement with matching/contributions, profit sharing, business account, malpractice insurance, relocation and potential sign on bonus!  Located in an upscale suburb of St. Louis.
