COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Interventional Radiology (RAD)

  • MGMA competitive salary plus wRVU production compensation

  • $600k+ is an expected starting package benchmark. Again, all things are negotiable.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS Interventional Radiology (RAD)

  • This is not your usual Interventional Radiology practice opportunity
  • 4 Radiologists on staff are all Interventional fellowship trained but also provide service for all things radiology
  • Hospital is a 24-bed critical access hospital that flexes up to 72 beds during ski season and summer vacation season
  • Schedule: Two-week rotation. Split days. Shift one is 8 a.m. to 12:30. Shift two is 12:30 to 6 p.m.
  • 3 Tesla MRI
  • 128 Slice CT will be installed soon in addition to the 64 we have now

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Interventional Radiology (RAD)

  • Must be Interventional fellowship trained and Board Certified (or Board Eligible if still within 36 months of completion of training)
  • “There are no malignant personalities in our group. Anyone seeking to join us will need to be a good team player.”
  • “This is not a ‘sit alone in the room’ job. We’re up and moving. We’re doing procedures. We’re talking with other doctors. We’re talking with patients.”
  • “We perform all traditional Interventional procedures with the exception of vascular. Although we do place PICC lines.”
  • Biopsies, drainages, PET/CT, Ultrasound, all Nuke, Breast, All Chest, DEXA, Lots of Plain films: all part of the day-in-the-life requirements.

  • International Airport 30 minutes away
  • All major metro amenities 30 minutes away
  • This is a posh, well-funded, resort town with excellent schools and amenities just close enough to the metro that you can enjoy all the metro amenities but just far enough from the metro to avoid the congestion and grind.
