Muskoskeletal Radiologist
The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia is currently seeking applicants for two full time faculty positions in a dynamic Muskoskeletal section to provide specialized imaging interpretation, with the use of state-of-the-art equipment, including dual source – dual energy CTs and MRs.
VCU MSK Radiologists practice at the main downtown campus, Stony Point Outpatient Center, and the new multidisciplinary Neuroscience, Orthopedics, and Wellness Center (NOW). CT, MR, US, and radiography equipment as well as dedicated MSK procedure rooms are available. Excellent professional relationships exist with the Departments of Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Division of Rheumatology.
REQUIREMENTS:
Provide high quality sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of the referring physicians and patients of the VCU HS.
Responsibilities will include musculoskeletal radiology (conventional radiographs, CT, MR and interventions).
Professional relationships established with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery to foster interdisciplinary research.
Provide training to medical students, residents, and fellows that rotate through the Department of Radiology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should be ABR certified or have passed the Core Component of the ABR Board examination
