Musculoskeletal Radiologist - F64920

The Department Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia is currently seeking applicants for a full-time musculoskeletal radiology faculty member who will train residents within the large, highly productive academic radiology department as well as serve as the Section Chief. The Department of Radiology at VCU Health is at the forefront of academic radiology departments, offering clinical, technological, educational and research initiatives that allow us to provide high-quality patient care and train the next generation of radiologists. The MSK section currently has an active Fellowship Program; 2-3 fellows are trained each year.

VCU MSK radiologists practice at the downtown campus, Medical College of Virginia Hospital, an 822 bed level 1 Trauma Center, as well as the Stony Point Outpatient Center, and the new multidisciplinary Neuroscience, Orthopedics, and Wellness Center (NOW). All three (3) locations offer state of the art CT, MR, US, and radiography equipment as well as dedicated MSK procedure rooms.

The successful candidate must be ABR certified, MSK fellowship trained and have at least five (5) years of practice experience. The applicant must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Candidate must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
