The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is building the future in their Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to their network. We are recruiting full time Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our team located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

Job Duties:

  • Providing a wide range of high quality Musculoskeletal interpretative and procedural skills. Experience or interest in Musculoskeletal ultrasound is preferred.
  • Participate in a division with both academic and community site service lines across five hospitals and four imaging centers.
  • The position will primarily focus on Musculoskeletal subspecialty cases, with some contribution to general diagnostic radiology. There is no mammography, IR, or nuclear medicine responsibility.
  • Expectations include supervision of trainees and physician extenders. Interest in resident and fellow education is preferred.
  • In addition to a robust sports medicine program that services the regions professional, collegiate and high school teams, candidates should have a strong interest in Musculoskeletal Oncology with ability to perform image guided biopsies.
  • Call and weekend coverage is shared equally across the group.
  • Equipment includes 14 CT scanners, including 64 slice dual source CT, 128 slice CT, multiple 64 slice CT scanners, dedicated procedure CT scanners, and 16 slice PET CT. Computed and digital radiography. Twelve 1.5 Tesla magnets. Up-to-date ultrasound equipment at all sites, mostly Philips EPIQ units.


Job Qualifications:

  • Be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Successful completion of fellowship training in the subspecialty of Musculoskeletal imaging is desired.
  • Participate in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required.
  • Pennsylvania License
