Description: Our client, a large NYC-based academic health system, is seeking Breast Imaging Radiologist. This is a dedicated breast imaging position with time shared between two facilities (within close proximity). The facility is high volume and provides a full range of breast imaging services including tomosynthesis, ultrasound, biopsies and 3T MRI. This is a well-established, stable practice in existence since 1947 with a multi-generational patient base and an excellent reputation in surrounding Long Island communities.

Responsibilities:

• Duties would include reading mammography, breast US, General US, General procedures, breast biopsy, Diagnostic imaging, and patient consultations as well as providing backup services to existing Radiologist while growing women’s services.
  

Educational Requirements:

• 
  
• Fellowship trained ABR-certified Breast Imaging Radiologist
  
• Strong Women’s Imaging skills, including breast procedures, stereotactic and core biopsies, tomosynthesis training, and MRI breast biopsies.
  
• Excellence in patient care and teaching, is required.
  
• Clinical responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI and breast interventional procedures.
  
• Qualified candidates must have fellowship in Breast Imaging or equivalent experience with competence in all aspects of Breast Imaging including biopsy. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package
