Board certified and fellowship trained preferred. Experience in General Radiology, CT, and MRI. Experience in biopsies (CT and ultrasound guided) preferred.
*Assistant or Associate level physician
o Clinical track: expected to devote a minimum of 90% of time to clinical responsibilities. Approx 2 days per month of academic time.
o Academic Track: expected to devote a minimum of 80% of time to academic responsibilities. Approx 4 days per month of academic time.
oOn call responsibilities Occurs approximately 6 weeks a year
? Scheduled for Saturday hours when on call (see details below)
? When fully staffed we do a flex schedule when on call. Arrive at 11am and stay until 6-7pm.
* Paid time off (full time, part time is prorated based on FTE) -20 vacation days -5 personal days-10 CME
*Saturday Hours
o Hours 8-12
o Slots available: 8 CT and 4 MR
o Staffed by on call physician. Physician may “sell†their Saturday hours to others in the department.
*Volume: ideally 5 body imagers in the reading room and 3 in breast reading room
o CT: Daily average of 90 for department
o MRI: Daily average of 20 for the department
o Mammo: Daily average of 57 for the department, plus procedures and mammo van screenings
