Neurointerventionalist / Neurologist / Neuroradiologist - Saginaw, MI (Great Lakes Bay Region, 4 Season Outdoor Recreation)

Covenant HealthCare seeks a BC/BE neurointerventional fellowship trained physician with neuroendovascular training to join an expanding neurosciences program. This neurology or neurosurgery trained neurointerventionalist or neurointerventional radiologist will join a neuroscience team comprised of 3 neurosurgeons, 3 medical neurologists, 1 neurohospitalist and neuroradiologists.

The region’s busiest emergency department with more than 94,000 visits per year. Ten bed dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. Robust hospitalist service provides medical consultative support.

As a Primary Stroke Center, Covenant was recently granted the highest award by the American Stroke Association for providing outstanding stroke care. Comprehensive Stroke Center status is expected by 2021.

State of the art stroke rehabilitation services are provided through a joint venture partnership between Covenant HealthCare and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The inpatient rehabilitation program is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).There are 3 physiatrists on staff to direct rehabilitation care and neuropsychology consultation service available.
