Academic Cardiothoracic Imaging Opportunity- Join a robust team Radiology Team
This is a true academic position! Our school of medicine has over 700 residents & fellows, brings in over $100 Million in grants and is doing over 100 clinical trials. You will have a Assistant or Associate professor title and be on a tenure track.
Our CT Imaging team consist of 4 Fellowship trained physicians, producing 3.5 FTE, a a CT imaging felllow plus disgnostic residents. This position is going to be a majority CT, with some cardiac (One Day per week). Body and Chest do not cross over here. Great mix of case work – large volume of plain film, cancer studies, etc and the physicians are averaging 6,000 RVUs per year. You will be doing both inpatient and outpatient reads. No procedures are required, but are optional.
This is a M-F 8am – 5pm schedule, with call being 1:4 and taken in 7-day blocks. Call is not super busy, as they are averaging 1-2 after hour calls per week. During the normal work week, you will have 4-days of clinic and one dedicated day for teaching/research/academics. There is potential for additional academic days if desired.
