Seeking a Chief of the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division at UPMC/University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology. Join the largest academic radiology department in the US. Must possess MD or equivalent, be BC or BE with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and leadership skills and prior experience in operational management.

Opportunity Details

  • 80% clinical/20% admin
  • Admin portion includes research as well as time teaching medical students, residents and fellows

  • High volume imaging department
  • One of the busiest thoracic imaging divisions in the country
  • Interpret all aspects of chest and cardiac
    • Chest radiographs
    • Chest CT
    • Chest CTA
    • Chest MR exams
    • Cardiac CT and MR
  • Division is centered at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital
    • Level 1 Regional resource trauma center
    • Leading regional referral center
    • Repeatedly named to US News and World Report’s Honor Roll
    • Leading center for organ transplantation, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, critical care medicine and trauma services
  • Division faculty also rotate at UPMC Shadyside
