Nurses Etc Staffing is looking for a full-time Pulmonologist to join our team with Colorado Military Health Systems including the USAF Academy, Peterson AFB, and Evans Army Community Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to serve our active duty military and their beneficiaries.

This position represents:
  • Monday - Friday shift
  • No in house call required
  • PTO, and sick leave
  • 10 paid federal holidays
Qualifications:
• Degree/Education (5.2.4): Successfully completed a doctor of medicine or a doctor of osteopathy degree from an approved medicine or osteopathy. Foreign Medical Graduates must possess an Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate Post-Graduate Training: Successfully completed an Internal Medicine residency, a Pulmonary Disease fellowship program, and a Critical Care Medicine fellowship program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support ACLS.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 24 months in the last 36 months of documented current clinical independent experience and competency. Must have the level of experience and documented current clinical competency to be awarded “Regular” privileges to work independently. Experience working in a Government setting such a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF is preferable. Recent completion of an accredited Pulmonary and/or Critical Care fellowship program may be used to satisfy part or all of this requirement.
• Board Certification (5.2.6.4.4): Maintains a current American Board of Internal Medicine specialty board certification or American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine specialty board certification, and be board-eligible in the subspecialty board certification in Pulmonary Disease and in the subspecialty board certification in Critical Care Medicine. Those diplomates who are enrolled in the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) will successfully complete requirements to maintain certification. .
• Licensure/Registration: Must possess and maintain an active, current, valid and unrestricted license from a US jurisdiction (fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands)
