HEADLINE: Baltimore, MD (suburbs): Pulmonologist/Sleep Medicine to replace retiring Pulmonologist/Sleep Medicine physician. Sleep Medicine fellowship is a requirement. Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, their Sleep Centers are all serviced by their six Board Certified Pulmonologists. They all are Fellowship trained in Sleep Medicine. Employed by a Regional Health Center. $ Excellent earning potential.

LOCATION: Baltimore, Maryland

PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Located in very desirable suburb of Baltimore, Maryland, a well established, hospital-owned Pulmonary and Sleep Center Program, is seeking to recruit a Pulmonologist/Sleep Medicine physician to replace a retiring physician.

  • The above Pulmonary and Sleep Center Program is part of a well-regarded regional health care system.

  • Fellowship trained in Sleep Medicine is a requirement.

  • Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, their Sleep Centers are all serviced by their six Board Certified Pulmonologists, who are also Fellowship trained in Sleep Medicine.

  • These Sleep Centers provide five convenient locations where sleep studies are performed. They also offer home-based sleep studies that allow patients to sleep in their own beds.

  • The replacement physician will walk into a very busy, latchkey practice!

  • This new physician will practice between two locations, all within a short driving distance.

  • About fifty percent of their time will be spent at each office.

  • Schedule includes: Monday through Friday. Every fourth week, one-week rotation in several modern Long term Ventilator facilities. As a result, that week there will be no office hours.

  • Every sixth week, rotation covering two modern community hospitals, which is part of this large hospital healthcare system. No office that week!

  • Pulmonologists/Sleep Medicine physicians completing their fellowship training as well as physicians who have prior work experience and are in practice will all be strongly considered and welcome to apply.

FINANCIAL COMPENSATION:

  • The new Pulmonologist/Sleep Medicine physician will be employed by the previously mentioned regional health care system.

  • They are offering a very competitive starting base salary. It will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, etc.

  • There is also an RVU-based productivity incentive.

  • In addition, they provide a comprehensive fringe benefits package.
