Description: Now hiring an Internal Medicine physician to serve as a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician for a position in a community hospital with academic system affiliation, seeks an.  This hospital offers high quality outpatient, emergency, and inpatient medical services.  Being part of a large health system, this hospital combines the excellence of an academic medical center with the caring environment of a community hospital. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ideal role for a Pulmonary / Critical Care physician interested in being a full-time Intensivist
  • Care for patients admitted to an 8-bed closed MICU and 8- bed Closed SICU
  • Perform central line placements, intubations, and manage mechanical ventilator
  • Lead rapid responses, codes, and code fasts
  • Communicate and coordinate care with subspecialists on the admitted patients

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate of a three-year ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.
  • Graduate of a Critical Care Medicine or Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine fellowship program
  • Board-Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Sub-Specialty Certification in Critical Care Medicine or Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine

Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate of a three-year ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.
  • Graduate of a Critical Care Medicine or Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine fellowship program
  • Board-Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
