Pulmonologist position in California in the Los Angeles area

• BC/BE in Pulmonology/Critical Care
• The typical schedule includes 7 days of ICU, followed by 5 days of clinic, followed by 9 days off
• The Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep department currently has 6 Pulmonary/Critical Care certified physicians, 2 of whom are also Sleep certified, and 1 actively involved in the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic, plus an additional PA/RT doing office care and 2 NP’s helping mostly in ICU and Pulmonary consults at the hospital
• Each physician has a private office with 2-3 exam rooms, working with a team of RT/MA support staff team
• All are actively involved in developing protocols and standards to improve care throughout the hospital
• Bronchoscopies, PleurX catheters, thoracentesis and other outpatient procedures are safely performed in our Pulmonary Laboratory.
• EBUS are performed
• State of the art CardioPulmonary stress testing equipment has been recently purchased to start an active program
• This position is only open for 2021 graduates
