West Virginia University School of Medicine – Charleston Division and Charleston Area Medical Center are seeking applicants for clinical and academic faculty positions to join the Division of Pulmonary Critical Care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established program with flexibility in the position to suit the needs and expertise of the applicant. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents, and fellows with a planned pulmonary critical care fellowship.

Charleston Area Medical Center provides a wide breath of Pulmonary and Critical Care services including a Comprehensive Cancer Center, Renal transplant program, large endoscopy suite providing advanced bronchoscopy techniques, specialty critical care units including Neurosurgical and Cardiothoracic ICUs, and advanced cardiovascular support including TAVR, Mitral Clip, and ECMO.

Job Requirements (must be met by the time of appointment):

  • MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care
  • Eligible for unrestricted WV Medical License
