Gould Medical Group, in partnership with Sutter Health, is looking for Locums Intensivists in Modesto, CA.

• Non-benefited employee position
• Board certification in Critical Care is required
• The intensivists admit from ED and run codes in ICU
• ER run codes outside of ICU
• Work closely with other board-certified intensivists, hospitalists and trauma surgeons.
• Mixed medical and surgical ICU
• Minimum procedure skills required: central lines, arterial lines, intubation
• The need is as soon as possible, but credentialing is around 60-90 days (includes hospital privileges)
• Epic EMR
• A mix of dayshifts or overnight shifts
• Shifts are typically 4 to 5 in a row
• Coverage needed for 5 to 10 shifts per month
• Day shifts are 7a – 6p covered by 2 physicians and 1 APC
• Night shift could be 11p-8a or possibly 5p to 8a if desired and covered by 1 physician with eICU backup
• 35 ICU beds
