ICU Intensivist opportunity with a hospital on the north side of Houston. Opportunity for Pulmonary Critical Care trained candidates. The unit is currently 26 beds and growing to 32. The position is open due to one Intensivist leaving the state. The ICU is mixed use medical with some post cardiac surgery patients. Need somoene on board no later than Spring 2019.

The position would be salaried, 16 shifts a month equal the salary. Extra shifts paid additionally, and if you work fewer that 16 it is taken out of PTO. Bonus would be available. Excellent benefits. Shifts rotate between day and night. The schedule is flexible, and not 7 on 7 off. They usually run 3-4 (sometimes 5) days in a row then have the same off with a scheduled week off during the month. If a physician needs certain times off, or a block of time off, that can be scheduled ahead without tapping into PTO. Employer needs someone that can start by the spring, so as of now summer grads cannot be considered.
