Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician for a full-time, employed opportunity in Modesto, CA. Join an established group of 3 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners and work in a great environment with excellent growth potential. The group is currently caring for patients in the inpatient setting only but is looking to expand both inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary services in the near future.

  • Full-time, employed position (W-2)
  • Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is a 465-bed, Level II Trauma Center
  • 42-bed open ICU (SICU, CVICU, CCU, NCCU)
  • Day shifts only – 7:00AM-7:00PM (12-hour ICU shifts compensated)
  • Model allows for 10-12 days off per month
  • Competitive compensation package includes $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation package, full benefits and malpractice coverage, CME, and medical/dental insurances
  • Production incentive for wRVU production
  • Annual Compensation will be $500K+ (based on 18 ICU shifts per month)
  • Additional contribution of 7% annual income to the pension plan (regardless of the employer match)
  • Call will be 1:4 weekends

Modesto, CA is located just 90 minutes from Downtown San Francisco and 60 miles south of Sacramento. Modesto offers a wide variety of city amenities without the high housing costs and traffic. Here you will find good schools and affordable housing with easy access to Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, the Santa Cruz/ Monterey/Carmel coast line and Yosemite National Park.
