JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Center in western North Carolina is seeking a BC/BE Geriatric Psychiatrist to strengthen our established team. Geriatric Fellowship and experience would be preferred but not required. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered. The practice is inpatient only with an Adult and Geriatric patient base. The hospital is a training site for the newly added Psychiatry Residency Program. Our psychiatrists will become faculty members and be involved in training and supervision of the first year Residents. There are two urgent care centers open seven days a week, a six-bed inpatient hospice facility, and 12 multi-specialty physician clinics providing a full spectrum of services including primary care. Our health & fitness center offers a wide array of amenities including saunas, steam rooms, personal training, and massage therapy. We also have a three-story outpatient care center with a laboratory, imaging center including women's imaging, and an outpatient surgery center.
