Job Description
The position has primary responsibility for inpatient care in 10 bed geriatric behavioral health unit. Call will be 1:3 with coverage of the 10 bed geri unit and a 29 bed adult unit. Weekday call is by phone. Weekends the on-call physician is responsible for rounding on the inpatient units. Benefits include paid malpractice, relocation allowance, 3 - 4 weeks vacation leave, additional 5 days with pay and stipend for CME, sign on bonus, available medical/dental insurance and more. Opportunity in near future to have outpatient office hours to provide continuity of care for patients.
