Reading Hospital, a 750-bed tertiary care facility located in West Reading, PA, is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Adult Psychiatrists to help serve a population of over 400,000.

Details for this full-time outpatient position:

  • Physicians would staff two busy outpatient locations:
    • One located on Reading Hospital's main campus (K-Building)
    • One located 5min from the main campus off of Van Reed Road in Wyomissing, PA (includes 2 suites and 15 offices for therapists and physicians)
  • 60min for intake appointments
  • 30min for transfers
  • 15min for follow-ups / medical checks
  • Adult patients only; A separate Child/Adolescent OP service is established

Additional Psychiatric services offered by Tower Health, but not within this provider's job description, include: An 18-bed medical complexity unit, a 20-bed residential substance abuse detox and rehab, a dedicated C/L service, 40-bed state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatric pavilion, Partial Program hospitalization options, and an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program. Other services include Medication Assisted Treatment, Behavioral Medicine Pain Management, and a Senior Assessment Program.
