A facility is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is in the NW LA Region near Sherman Oaks and Northridge, CA.
The clinician will work 1 day a week for 4 hours a day. It is preferred that the clinician starts onsite for the first few weeks then once they are comfortable and have seen most of the patients they can work a hybrid schedule. There is no preference on the day of the week worked, and it can be discussed during the interview. Patients are older adults who are 55+ with SMI, Bipolar, some Schizophrenic, Depression, PTSD, etc. The clinician must be comfortable treating patients on Clozaril and tech-savvy. Creds can take 3-5 weeks, and it all depends on how quickly the MD can get a live scan, and provide TB & vaccination info.
