Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities:

Attending physician role working within the Pediatrics Division of Behavioral Health - Acute Inpatient Services. The attending psychiatrist is the clinical lead of the assigned inpatient team and is responsible for all aspects of patient care on the team including safety and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Must be board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry
