Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida (Lee Health) is seeking a Pediatric Psychiatrist!

Located near the beaches of Southwest Florida is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 134 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services to take care of all of our community’s children from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU with 24 hour in house Neonatology coverage.

Lee Health is a non-profit organization with more than 14,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 750 employed primary care and specialty care providers with nearly 90 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house 1,812 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group (LPG) – Pediatric Behavioral Health is seeking a full time BC/BE Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. Candidate for this position must have completed an Adolescent and Child Psychiatry Fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Applicant must hold a current Florida license or be eligible for licensure. This practice is comprised of 3 psychiatrists, 5 Clinical Psychologists, 2 licensed clinical social workers, 2 mental health workers, 3 social workers, neurology, developmental, and several other critical support staff. Practice based experience in working with developmental medicine is a plus. Potential plans to expand with consultative liaison services and partial hospital program – experience in these areas is preferred. This main practice location is across the street from Golisano Children’s Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. EPIC is the electronic medical record. Call for this position with full complement is 1:4 weekends.
