EAST TX (College Town - 90 Min to Dallas or Shreveport) - Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (Academic) Opportunity

UT Health East Texas in Tyler, TX seeks a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a rapidly growing Behavioral Health Center. The ideal candidate will have an interest in an academic career which includes clinical work, teaching, and scholarly activity. Candidates should qualify for a faculty appointment at the Assistant, Associate Professor or Professor rank. We currently have a 14 bed inpatient acute psych unit, a 30 bed inpatient chronic psych unit, a 10 bed inpatient geriatric psych unit, and 1 IOP for the geriatric program. Our program also offers adult, child, and adolescent outpatient clinics. Our residency program took its first class in July 2017, and we are planning a rural track residency program.

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Texas and board certified or board eligible. Unique opportunity to combine a private practice setting with academics.
