We are in need of a board certified child psychiatrist starting as soon as possible for an ongoing locum tenens position.
This facility is located in Philadelphia, PA where the rich history is equally matched with a plethora of modern day luxuries.
The schedule is 36 hours per week with Saturday available for home visits. The average day consists of seeing approximately 2-3 new clients (at 1 hours per eval) and about 1-2 follow up visits, to existing patients. Average travel time between visits is approximately 1.5 hours with the rest of the day spent in the office writing notes from evals/follow-up visits and meeting with the team. The census is 90% pre-adolescents and adolescents, they rarely see young children. Candidates must have a Medicaid number since all patients are on Medicaid.
