A facility 45 minutes west of Detroit, Michigan needs a psychiatrist this March and ongoing to assist with children and adolescents. Are you interested?
- Day treatment center for children and adolescents
- Dates: March - July; possible extension
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; patient hours are 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Call: available to patients' family by phone outside of program hours; phone availability only, 0% callback
- Volume: 1-2 intakes per day; patients between 12 and 18 years old
- Cases: 30-minute med checks, 90-minute new evaluations; anxiety, affective, personality, eating, psychotic, and developmental disorders; pharmacotherapy, trauma, psychotherapy
- Support: 3 therapists, 1 recreational therapist, 1 administrator, 1 part-time nurse
- Requirements: board certification or eligibility in child psychiatry, BLS, active MI license
- EMR: Citrix
- Credentialing: 2-3 months; may be able to expedite
