Description: Hiring a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a top New York Medical Center. The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for clinical care and educational activities on an acute inpatient unit. Collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams, you will participate in activities related to clinical care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, resident and medical student education. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect pertinent data and complete investigations and reports
  • Assist in continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of care
  • Perform Mental Status Evaluations, History and mental status exams
  • Pharmacotherapy as indicated in treatment plan.
  • Initiate consults and referrals
  • Responsible for the completion of individual workload accountability
  • Provide high quality, patient-centered care
  • Tele-Psychiatry opportunities available

Educational Requirements:

  • Certified American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology
  • Fellowship / Residency Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • New York State Medical License

Experience Requirements:

  • Certified American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology
  • Fellowship / Residency Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • New York State Medical License
