Our client in this beautiful Southern Vermont community, is seeking an inpatient clinical psychiatrist for a hospital employed position.
23-bed adult inpatient unit including 17-bed general admission and adjacent 6-bed psychiatric ICU. Although it is a locked unit, 90% are voluntary admissions.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in addiction medicine who are interested in providing outpatient services clients Medication Treatment Center.
Weekend call coverage is 1 in 6 weekend and includes coverage from Friday at 5pm to Sunday at 5pm with patient rounding on-site on Saturday and Sunday. Weeknight and evening coverage is by telephone only one night a week and assigned weekends.
Candidate must be BC or BE within five years of completion of training.
Locum, locum to perm, or permanent opportunity.
