COMPANY PROFILE:
This multifaceted healthcare organization has been operating in the greater Phoenix area for more than 20 years, offering both primary care and specialty services in outpatient, inpatient, facility, and home settings. Each area of the practice has its own Medical Director, team of physicians and advanced practitioners, and dedicated support staff. They are currently hiring psychiatric providers due to a partnership with a new behavioral health hospital.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician/psychiatrist/addiction specialist will work in a 32-bed adult behavioral health hospital, providing psychiatric and/or medical care to patients.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

- provide general psychiatric care
- work in addiction medicine
- as needed/if appropriate, provide basic medical care

See a variable number of patients per day, dependent upon patient needs and hospital census.

Clinical assistants are available to assist as needed.

The hospital uses an EHR.

Please note that this is a new hospital that opened in June 2019. As such, patient census is currently growing. The new provider will begin in a part-time role, but can increase to full-time if desired (the practice is also happy to keep it a part-time position). Because the program and facility are so new, there are flexible elements to the position and its scope, which the hiring managers will be able to discuss in more detail during a personal interview.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Psychiatry preferred
- experience/credentials in addiction medicine preferred
