Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is looking to add a Psychiatrist to our multidisciplinary team in our newly renovated Ansonia location. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is interested in working with the population with co-morbid addiction problems. Addiction Psychiatry experience and interest in addiction treatment are preferred; including methadone maintenance, office-based buprenorphine treatment, and general psychiatric outpatient care. There are opportunities for teaching: Yale Addiction psychiatry fellows and Yale medical students with corresponding clinical faculty appointments.

Summary

The Psychiatrist maintains responsibility for psychiatric consultation of the BHD site(s) assigned. The Psychiatrist will work in collaboration with the Program Director(s) of the site(s) to deliver appropriate clinical services and treatment planning. Works to lead a multidisciplinary team to provide direct service and supervision of/consultation to staff. Will collaborate with mid-levels as assigned by the Medical Director.
