Medical Center is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist for the development of a NEW Psychiatric Residency Program. This provider will provide program leadership and spearhead the structure for the ACGME application while also providing Psychiatric services to the community with additional providers already in practice. Position includes competitive salary and benefits, annual CME allowance, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
The Medical Center is a 263-bed health care organization that opened its doors to patients in 2018. The facility is a replacement for another Hospital in northwestern Alabama. The Medical Center has grown into the largest, most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama and serves as the primary referral center for northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee, and northeast Mississippi. There are over 200 physicians on staff representing over 42 specialty areas of medicine. The Medical Center is a primary stroke center and a certified chest pain center. The Medical Center reaches five floors and spans 450,000 square feet, it includes:
- 52 critical care beds
- 38 bed emergency department
- 14 operating rooms
- 2 cardiovascular ORs
- 3 cath labs
