This opportunity exists through one of the largest providers of mental health services at several locations in Connecticut. Located in desirable Fairfield County, just 52 miles east of New York City.
- Adults Only
- Inpatient Psychiatry at 76-Bed Psych Hospital accredited by the Join Commission
- 830am-430pm M-F
-Generally 12 patients a day
-Psychiatrist is responsible for developing the treatment plan, to include psychopharmacologic and non-psychopharmacologic interventions and estimated length of stay.
-Patients can be directly admitted to this unit without a visit to the ER.
-Shared call, participation required once per week
Requirements include Board Certification in Psychiatry. CT Medical License and DEA.
