The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is currently seeking an Adult/General Psychiatrist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor who has experience with diverse populations. This full or part-time, non-tenure track position is responsible for clinical and classroom teaching of medical students and psychiatry residents, including clinical supervision and small group teaching. This position will also provide direct clinical care in clinical settings affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Requirements: Applicants must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree with successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency by the time of hire. Must be ABPN certified in general psychiatry within 2 years of hire date. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and must be able to be successfully credentialed by Northern Nevada teaching hospitals.

Teaching experience with medical students and psychiatry residents, teaching or subspecialty training in areas and previous publication or research is highly desirable.
