Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Weekend Locums Job in the California Bay Area
Details/Requirements:
*Adult inpatient coverage starting ASAP and ongoing. Mostly for weekends.
*Board Certification is required and must have at least one year of inpatient experience within the past 4 years.
*Hours: inpatient 16 hour days, mostly weekends, but weekdays are available at 12 and 16 hours. 12 hour shifts are for an 18 bed unit plus C-L coverage on weekends that make it a 16 hour shift. 16 hours are for a 24 bed unit with C-L on Holidays.
*No call.
*Average daily caseload is 16-18 patients per day. Client allows 38 minutes per patient per day.
*Average length of stay is approximately 8-12 days.
*Medical physicals for H&Ps for new admissions are done by Internists, not the locum tenens psychiatrist.
*Must be proficient with electronic medical records.
*Three month minimum assignments preferred.
