Not-for-profit, 81 bed acute care medical center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist to join team.
The Hospital-employed position offers competitive compensation according to MGMA; RVU productivity bonus; health benefits; CME; relocation expense; resident stipend; and assistance with medical education loan repayment.
Medical Center is recognized as one of the premier healthcare facilities of its size in the state of Alabama, serving seven counties with a service area population of 52K+. With cutting-edge technology and approx. 80 physicians on staff, patients are treated in specialties ranging from primary care to radiology, cardiology, oncology and many more. Notable services include: *CT, * in-house PET scanner * MRI * UAB Medicine - Russell Medical Cancer Center* Outpatient rehabilitation facility, including aquatics * Accredited 4-bed sleep center * Wound care & hyperbaric medicine * daVinci Surgical System.

- Regular clinic hours, M-F, 8-5
- Working onsite at a brand new facility on Medical Campus
- 11-13 patients per day in the beginning, more as practice builds
- Age range is 55+ primarily but could do younger if desired
- Inpatient/outpatient mix
- New grads welcome
- EMR is Meditech
