Length of Assignment: 3 months
Schedule: M-F 8-5, no call or weekends
Credentialing: 2 weeks+
Patient Volume: Census is around 45 with all units combined ( voluntary and involuntary)
Setting: Adult inpatient
Details: Psychiatrist will have the responsibility of Designated Examiner to write the DE reports as well as attend court. Adult outpatient program treating patients struggling with Mental Illness and Substance Use disorders. They all have already been stabilized inpatient/detoxed prior to being accepted into the program however some light medication management might be needed. This position is for a locums Psychiatrist, Designated Examiner responsibilities, full time Mon-Fri coverage needed. Must have active SC license and be Board Certified.
