Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Psychiatrist at Travis Air Force Base, near Sacramento. This contract position offers: - Full-time/ 40 hours per week - Monday-Friday - Paid Federal Holidays - Comprehensive benefits package Job Requirements: The Psychiatrist will have the following requirements: - Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry - Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Association - At least 24 months of experience within the last 36 months or 36 months of experience in pain psychiatry in the last 10 years. - Experience in Opioid Addiction treatment and Evaluation - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and BLS thru the American Heart Association DEA Certification for Suboxone - Instructs interns and residents in psychiatric and pain management principles and procedures. Addiction evaluation and treatment - Coordinates psychiatric services with other medical activities - Examines, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychiatric and chronic pain disorders.
