DirectShifts is seeking a Child Psychiatrist to work in San Leandro, CA. This is a Part Time position. My client is very motivated to speak with all interested candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Doctor of Medicine
Experience
Experience
with County mental health, child welfare, and/or juvenile probation systems and services preferred.
License or Certification
Current state medical license in good standing with the medical board.
Current DEA License
Current malpractice insurance
Valid California Driver's License

- Ability to visually and audibly assess participant's behaviors and needs
- Ability to physically perform ProACT.
- Ability to sit for long periods, up to 3 hours at a time.
- Ability to drive within the community in personal vehicle.
- Potential for eye and wrist strain from computer screen and minor lacerations from paper cuts.
- Interaction with potentially assaultive youth.
- Blood and Body Fluid Contact (Category I).
