Summary:

  • Skagit Regional Health is seeking a new Psychiatrist to join our growing Mental Health Department. This position will include work in both our inpatient Mental Health Unit and in a new outpatient clinic. You would have an opportunity to see a mix of both Child/Adolescent and Adult patients.
  • Join a collaborative inpatient psychiatry group providing psychiatric services on our 15 bed inpatient unit and consults for patients admitted to our ED or other inpatient units.
  • Our inpatient team consists of existing psychiatrists, an ARNP and support staff including: Mental Health Assistants, Case Managers and a Group Coordinator.
  • Great work/life balance with a 7 on/7 off block schedule.
  • The ideal candidate will place a priority on quality of care, patient experience and collaboration.
  • This is a hospital employed position with support from an existing in house primary and specialty care referral base.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited program. Fellowship training in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry preferred, but not required.
  • Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Experience desired; however, new graduates will be considered.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license
