Addiction / Detox Psychiatry Medical Director - Phoenix, Arizona

At Calvary Healing Center, we offer a full range of services including 30-day Inpatient Program, 24-hour medical detox, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as well as a Faith-Based program track.
DETAILS:
- Long-term addiction treatment facility.
- Average length of stay: 18 days
- Total beds: 68
- Direct patient care for RTC and Detox to include history and physicals, check-ups and discharge meetings to solidify medication recommendations and referral recommendations.
- Combination administrative/clinical position (Approximately 15% admin, 85% clinical).
- 28-32 hours per week (4 or 5 day workweek considered).
- Mostly Mon-Fri, days only - Average one weekend per month, no weekday call.
- Oversight of medical staff to assure timeliness and appropriateness of service and documentation (four total FTE oversight).
- Develop and implement a general formulary for medication practices.
- Partner with CEO and Business Development to represent the organization.
- Participation in daily management flash meetings, Medical Executive & governing board meetings, as well as Patients Safety Council.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program (Required);
- Board certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (Required);
- Current Arizona Physician license, in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure;
- Addiction, detox, substance abuse experience (Preferred);
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians;
