Adult Inpatient Locums Job in Hawaiian Paradise
Details/Requirements:
*Full-time adult inpatient coverage, 40 hours a week.
*There are a total of seven Adult Units, with an average of 202 patients who suffer from severe and persistent mental illness.
*This specific job is for Unit I.
*Average length of stay is long-term.
*Fifteen Psychiatrists on staff.
*Two admission units. Caseload is 10-13 patients. New admissions average one to two per week (five providers sharing admissions).
*There are five Rehabilitation Units where they have Psychosocial Programming, Community Reintegration, and Fitness Restoration.
*Average caseload is sixteen patients.
*There are on-site Medical Services, Case Management, Psychology, Substance Abuse Counselors, Recreational Therapists, and Dieticians.
*Forensic evaluations are done by court-appointed 3rd-party providers.
*Physicals for H&P’s done by Medical Services.
*Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
*No call, no weekends, and no holiday work required.
*Physicals for H&Ps for new admissions are done by IMs, FPs, or NPs, not the Psychiatrist.
