Psychiatrist Tarzana, CA 91356

Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist with interest or subspecialty in Addiction Psychiatry. Prefer that they have an X-waiver too to prescribe buprenorphine. The ideal candidate should like variety, work independently but also as part of team, comfortable with documenting in EHRs, and be a caring and empathetic professional with good patient care and communication skills.

The psychiatrist will be working in a few different settings 4 days a week at the same address. This will include inpatient psychiatry in an acute 60 bed psychiatric hospital used for both detox and psychiatric stabilization, 160 bed residential rehabilitation program for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, outpatient mental health treatment and MAT services (buprenorphine), if possible. We would like the candidate to travel one day a week to our campus in Lancaster, California, which is a one hour drive from the Tarzana location. There the person would provide outpatient mental health services and possibly some MAT.

Salary (range): $165-$190/hr This is an annualized equivalent range of $330,000 - $380,000 based on a 50 week work year.
