OPEN POSITION:

SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
COMPENSATION:
- $200,000 to $250,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
Since 1978, this renowned outpatient neuropsychiatry practice has been providing a wide scope of mental healthcare services to the residents of Raleigh, Charlotte, and Chapel Hill through their convenient locations and dedicated staff of psychiatrists, neuropsychiatrists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. They currently employ 2 physicians and 6 advanced practitioners, who are supported by a robust complement of clinical and administrative team members. Their services include, but are not limited to, geriatric and memory neuropsychiatry, neurological disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, depression, and brain injuries. They are currently hiring due to growth in their northern Raleigh office location.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new psychiatrist will work within the various service lines of the practice, providing treatments for:
- ADHD
- depression
- brain injuries
- geriatric neuropsychiatry
- memory neuropsychiatry
- neurological disorders
- anxiety
- mood disorders
- and more
All work is within the general area of outpatient neuropsychiatry - they do not see acute patients.
The practice sees patients of all ages but may be able to consider a provider with age restrictions in their practice scope, depending on the specifics.
Physicians see an average of 12 to 18 patients per day. Psychiatric technicians are available to assist as needed.
The practice uses the DrChrono EHR.
There are minimal, flexible on-call duties. Providers share the rotation evenly and, because call volume is so low, typically rotate in one-month blocks. On-call is phone triage only and available for established patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- North Carolina medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Psychiatry
- ability to treat all ages preferred
