The Director of Residency Training collaborates with the Chair of Behavioral Health Services in developing and implementing a high quality interdisciplinary behavioral health teaching program. Having overall responsibility for the delivery of psychiatric care on the teaching service and for the teaching of residents and students in Behavioral Health, the Director of Residency Training supervises the residents; oversees and coordinates all teaching functions and activities; assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures; leads PI and UR initiatives and manages the teaching program. Scholarly endeavors are encouraged and supported. Clinical activity working with residents is expected.
