Seeking a Psychiatrist to join a traditional hospital employed practice with inpatient consults and outpatients appointments. Mix is 50% outpatients and 50% inpatients. The current plan calls for adding 3 additional adult psychiatrists to the group. They will consider psychiatrists interested in operating a partial hospitalization program.
This is a 267bed facility with a population of 275,000.
Call is one weeknight every week and one weekend every month.
Visa physicians are welcome to respond.
The compensation package is quite generous. Base salary $250k -$300k.The base compensation also includes the compensation for 7 days of call coverage. Any additional days of call coverage will be compensated at $80.00 per day.
There is a sign -on bonus 25k 15k relocation, 3k per contract year for CME expenses. 2k per year for dues. You will be eligible for 208 hrs of PTO,40 hours/5 days of paid time off for CME. The hospital will also pay for medical malpractice insurance coverage.
The area offers an interstate highway and within an hour of a regional airport. Reasonable cost of living, good schools, 1 1/2 to Roanoke WV.
