- Permanent Psychiatrist MD/DO
- $250,000 - $300,000 Plus depending on experience
- The position is about 10 to 15% inpatient work in the local general medical hospital, where our staff physicians have privileges and do admissions and daily rounds for the Psychiatry Unit.
- The remainder of the daily work schedule following daily rounds is outpatient services at the Center location.
- Patients scheduled in outpatient from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. One hour lunch.
- Psychiatric Evaluations are scheduled for one hour, while medication management appointments are scheduled in 15 minute times.
- The physician would also share on-call responsibilities with the other physicians on staff; would be tree when this position is filled. On-call is scheduled for 24 hour periods during the week (8:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.), the weekend coverage begins at 8:00 A.M. on Friday and continues until 8:00 A.M. on Monday morning. The mental health professionals on-call are the first line of screening, then the psychiatrists are contacted for consultation and disposition of the case. All of this is done by telephone calls.
- The Agency has an electronic health records system, with forms (templates) available to enter information from service visits, with many of the questions having multiple choice options or radical buttons to select the most appropriate answer for the patient.
